I started this blog in 2009 to post information about my friend Aysha's sewing classes. Now I mainly use it to share pictures and instructions for my own little sewing projects.
My sewing is pretty simple. Besides my limited sewing skills simple projects are just quicker and easier to finish. If I don't finish a project in one or two sittings, there's a good chance that it might not get finished at all.
As much as possible, I try to make my projects from recycled clothes and scraps. It's gentler on the environment but it also means I can stop (or at least try to stop) buying fabric, which I don't really have space for anyways. Recently, I've been using sewing as a way of decluttering -- turning scraps and pieces of fabric into simple and functional things that I can use or give away. It's a win-win situation!
If you have any questions or find any of the instructions confusing, feel free to email me at mardyani (at) gmail (dot) com.
